Your new role

As the UK&IE Financial Controller you will be responsible for financial processes and controls for the UK & Ireland. Reporting to the Deputy CFO you will lead the finance function and business partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial analysis supporting the business's needs. This is a hands on role that looks to make things happen as the business evolves, and IKEA UK & Ireland look to strengthen their position in the market.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 8 years PQE. This role sits within the central offices of the UK & Ireland and is responsible for leading a large team both directly and remotely therefore it will be essential that you have proven leadership capabilities. You will have a strong analytical skill set and a broad understanding of financial standards. You will be a strategic thinker with a demonstrated history of delivering results and driving improvement. Previous experience in a multichannel business with an appreciation for change will set you up to succeed in this role.
