The Finance and Planning department supports the University in achieving its stated aims and objectives by the provision of an effective and efficient support service embracing the management of its finances and the management and operation of its estate. We are committed to achieving the delivery of an outstanding level of service and support to our whole customer base.
As the key member of the financial accounting team, this role has a broad remit in assisting the Finance Director (Investment and Risk) and Director of Compliance in all areas of managing the activities of the University’s 150 Trusts and Unified Trust Fund. We are looking for a pro-active self-starter who will promote Finance and Planning across the University and with external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be qualified or part qualified accountant with a professional accountancy body recognised in the UK. Advanced Excel and IT skills are essential requirement.
