Robertson Bell are delighted to be working with a prestigious and well-known London charity to recruiting a Tax and Treasury Accountant. The role joins a mostly brand-new finance team looking to catapult the charity into the future.
Some of the responsibilities of the Tax and Treasury Accountant are as follows:
*Take full ownership of the Tax and Treasury function of the charity, leading on all major decisions that impact this area.
*Be the main point of contact for all internal and external matters relating to Tax and Treasury.
*Management and develop a junior part qualified accountant.
*Work with the Director of Finance and Head of Financial Accounts to develop a new treasury strategy.
*Cash flow forecasts and reporting.
*Prepare all annual tax related returns.
*Lead on all VAT related matters.
Previous experience/ background required for the role is as follows:
*Hold either a Tax or Accountancy qualification.
*Have previous experience of working in a charity or advising charities on tax or treasury related matters.
*Either have held a similar position previously or worked within an accountancy practice looking for their first move into industry.
*Have strong communication skills and a passion for adding value to an organisation.
