Are you an ACCA / ACA qualified Business Services Manager / Outsourcing Manager looking to upgrade to a Top 60 firm based in a prestigious location in Central London? Are you keen to manage your own portfolio of clients, work with interesting clients (particularly Media, Entertainment, Film and TV clients), manage your own team and be responsible for the overall performance of a small yet rapidly growing department? Are you also looking to work for a firm where you can gain exposure to larger clients and better quality work, but also have a good work life balance? Based in the busy Business Services and Outsourcing department, your role will be varied, and will include reviewing work carried out by other members of staff, which will include management accounts for clients (both monthly and quarterly), statutory accounts, bookkeeping assignments, client training on software packages, VAT returns as well as ad hoc projects such as cash flows, budgeting and forecasting as well as Vat and PAYE inspections. You will be responsible for managing all staff within the department and ensuring their development. You will also be responsible for ensuring all clients are serviced to a very high standard, as well we managing workflow. You will report to a number of different partners in this growing firm of 70 staff. Your role may be hands on from time to time for the more complex assignments (such as groups, consolidations and any overseas companies). Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of growing SME businesses and large international clients, sectors including Media, Entertainment, Film & TV, Sport, Property, technology and Retail.
To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be a qualified ACCA / ACA with post qualification experience. You must either be operating at manager level, either a business services manager in a small practice looking to step up, or an outsourcing manager in a larger firm looking for your new challenge or a better work life balance. Your current role must include the above duties and you must also have experience managing a portfolio of clients and managing a team. Ideally you will have experience of Xero or cloud based software, although training can be provided. You must also have experience working for a number of partners at any one time. Experience of some large clients including groups and overseas companies would be an advantage but not essential. You will now be looking to upgrade to a busy and rapidly growing Outsourcing and Business Services department, and continue to learn new skills and work with impressive clients to improve your technical knowledge. You must also have the drive and determination to help the Partners continue to grow this popular department.
