Your new firm
A modern independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bolton are keen to engage with ambitious Portfolio Managers who are looking to progress their career within general practice. The firm have experienced over three years of sustained growth and with this are looking to bolster their senior management team and appoint a partner designate.
Your new role
As a partner designate you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, predominantly OMBs for which you will be responsible for overseeing a full general practice offering to these clients. This includes delegating. You be the key contact for the client and be responsible for leading client meetings.
You will work with clients throughout the year to help them achieve their business goals which will involve leading on corporate finance projects, business plans, cash flow forecasting amongst other projects. Over time you will be tasked with growing your portfolio with referrals and business development with the ultimate goal of achieving partnership in the medium term.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a qualified accountant (preferably ACA however ACCA accountants will be considered) who can demonstrate a proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients. As a future partner you must have good commercial acumen along with the ambition and drive to win new business and develop your professional network.
