Your new role
This role will improve the quality of Payroll Balance Sheet reconciliations to support the requirement of SoX control. In doing this, it will highlight further payroll process risk/benefits from postings. Following the improvement in Balance sheet reconciliations this role will look into the processes within the cost control team, making efficiencies where possible to expedite reporting, analysis and control.

Payroll Account Reconciliations:
Update all payroll balance sheet reconciliations by required deadlines to ensure Sox compliance
Undertake analysis of historical balances in specific accounts and liaise with relevant colleagues in finance, HR and Payroll to make required adjustments.
Ensure there is clear documented understanding of postings in each of the payroll balance sheet accounts to ensure balances are correct and easily reconciled going forward.
With clear understanding of transactions minimize the P&L impact, and timing thereof, caused by incorrect posting.
Process Improvement:
Work with the cost control team to document and review processes.
Provide documented suggestions for improved process efficiencies to the Cost Control Manager for review.
Implement all agreed process changes ensuring all relevant team members clearly understand the revised processes.

Advanced Excel level (pivots, advanced calculations)
