Are you a Partnership Accountant currently working for either a law firm or accountancy firm, looking for your next challenge? Are you keen to upgrade to a modern, forward thinking accountancy firm based in the heart of the City? Are you keen to work for a large firm with around 250 staff, which will be able to offer you a challenging role, career progression and the opportunity to learn new skills? Based in the busy finance team, you will be responsible for the Partners individual and corporate accounting and tax affairs. Your role will include: partner forecasting, partner tax liabilities, partner cash flow forecasts, Partner equity price calculations, equity purchase, loans, work in progress, preparing partner ETB’s, preparation of quarterly summaries of partner capital, dividends, attending and leading partner meetings, prepare partnership tax returns, delegate work to more junior staff in the finance team, and other ad hoc projects as required. Your role will be varied, challenging and very rewarding.
To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA with at least a years PQE. It is likely you will be educated to degree level and have strong academics. You must have experience of partnership accounting and tax, either in an accountancy practice firm or a law / legal firm. You must have experience giving meetings and presentations to senior staff. You must also be technically strong and be able to work in a team environment. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage (this firm uses a software called Practice Engine but training will be provide if necessary).
