EMEA Lead Auditor (manufacturing) SOx, Greater Manchester ACA / ACCA / CMIIA Up to £45000 + benefits

Your new role
You will plan & execute risk based audits across the organisations estate, throughout the EMEA Region. Partnering with regional businesses you will contribute to the increasing presence and reputation of internal audit within Europe, monitoring and reporting on a diverse range of business activities and functions. You will plan & undertake the annual Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program, including walkthroughs and controls testing. You will also be responsible for managing the execution of the co-sourced annual financial statement audit, as you look for opportunities to streamline the process & better partner with the external auditors. This role comes with significant travel - up to 30%, providing opportunity to get about the business in multiple international locations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a relevant audit qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIA), have experience of auditing large multi-site operations, with a strong understanding of of general accounting principles (ideally including SOx / COSO / USGAAP / IFRS). Experience within the manufacturing / retail sectors would also be advantageous. This is a role delivering into senior stakeholders, so the ability to interact confidently at a senior level is essential. You should be comfortable delivering performance feedback, following up on suggested remedial actions and learning opportunities.
