Reporting into the Director of Finance, the International Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering high quality financial support to the proposal development and grant management teams, leading on grant reporting and budget development for new proposals. This role will take ownership of the international work done by the organisation and it's partners, working proactively to identify key risks and developing a strong understanding of where key weaknesses and strengths are and managing these. There will be a consistent focus on improving and developing key processes. This position will manage an International Accountant so line management experience would be desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACCA) with at least one year of experience in the International Development sector either from working in an INGO HQ, within a field office or in audit, having audited INGO's. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are absolutely essential, as this position will be working with senior stakeholders internationally.
