The main responsibilities of the Internal Audit Manager will be:
*Managing a small team of Senior Internal Auditors, ensuring they are achieving objectives and providing a strong service to internal stakeholders.
*Work with internal stakeholders to make improvements to departments.
*Present at the Finance and Audit committee.
*Spotting improvements in current policies and procedures and making sound recommendations for efficiencies/ improvements.
The successful candidate will be an experienced auditor (either internal or external) with a passion for high standards and a desire to improve themselves and their surroundings. You will be comfortable manding a small team and able to spot efficiencies and presenting information in a clear and concise manner. No previous charity experience is required as my client is looking for the right person to join the team. You will need to either be on a short notice period or immediately available to be considered.
