Job Description

The Company

Reach International is working with this global accountancy firm to appoint an Insolvency Assistant Manager for their British Virgin Islands office. The ideal candidate would be fully qualified with strong Insolvency and/or Restructuring experience, and would ideally, already have offshore experience.

The Role

  • Manage and deliver a superior client service to multiple clients

  • Work on complex and cross border assignments directing and leading a team

  • Provide commercial, strategic and technical advice

  • Undertake options analysis, stakeholder negotiations, strategy reports, contingency plans and insolvency filings

  • Work closely with the Directors to develop new business and maintain existing business

  • Lead business development initiatives and client pitches

  • Mentoring and developing staff and providing constructive feedback

The Candidate

  • ACA/ACCA/ CPA/ CFA or equivalent qualification(s)

  • Strong experience of managing Restructuring and Corporate Insolvency cases ideally gained within a global professional services Firm

  • Proven track record of decision making and team management

  • Ideally, significant experience gained already in the Offshore markets
