Your new company
Your new company is a leading hotel chain based in Central London, with sites based all around the South East, and overseas. Working as part of a really high performing Group function, you will take on this Head of FP&A role to drive the company forwards as it's parent company looks to continue to increase its size, and profitability.
The finance team in the head office, is small and close-knit, but still a very professional outfit that will be a brilliant place to develop your skill set in this broad, commercial role.
Your new role
In your new role as Head of FP&A for the Group function of this growing hotel chain - you will be responsible for a broad range of responsibilities from the budgeting & forecasting, to the creation of a new 3 year business plan, to heavy involvement in M&A activity as they look to expand.
You will use your analytical skills to perform various pieces of ad hoc analysis for the C-Suite, as well as the parent company. This could be looking into various costs in the business, or contract negotiations - as and when this is needed, and so you will need to be able to cope with a variable day plan.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fully Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - with experience operating in a commercial role. During your career you will have worked on budgeting & forecasting (ideally for a multi-site business), as well as the creation of a 3 or 5 year business plan.
If you have experience with M&A activity or modelling, this will be a massive bonus on your CV, but is not a pre-requisite.
