Your new company
A leading retail company is looking for a new Financial Planning Manager with a demonstrated acumen for informed planning and commercial decision-making. This High Street Luxury Retailer operates across the world and is in a compelling time of growth and development. With an already impressive store presence, this company has an ambitious horizon, looking to open new department stores and outlets in the UK.

Your new role
You will be working within a dynamic and innovative retail landscape where your main responsibilities will be financial planning and analysis, with a real opportunity to commercially engage and respond to the business environment at hand. Corresponding closely with the board and senior management team, you will be producing and coordinating the reporting, forecasting and budgeting. A significant responsibility will be managing and supporting two management accountants as direct reports who are responsible for cost control. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this hands-on role is responsible for overseeing the annual budget and owning analytical responsibility for the consolidated P&L forecast. You will be closely communicating with teams across the business to develop strong connections and have opportunity to promote and contribute to imperative and entrepreneurial planning with business partners.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) accountant with 3 years' post-qualified experience, ideally with retail and SUN systems experience. You will be an impressive communicator with a sharp analytical mind and strong modelling and data skills. You will be able to deliver thorough and clear analysis and communicate across the business to individuals and teams from a non-finance background.
