A 6 month contract in Maidenhead - requires a good working knowledge of SAP in FI and CO module. £42 per hour.

Your new role
Responsible for maintaining the health of the financial systems and implementing new solutions. The role includes planning, designing, developing and ensuring successful launch of the optimal solution with an efficient ability to identify root cause(s) and scope.

Ensure that the financial ERP is relevant to the current reporting and operational requirements and that the
programs are functioning effectively and accurately
Be the Direct Responsible Individual for the platform, setting best practices and standards
Sponsor for global deployment of finance tools in the region, support Global Process Owner
Oversee performance of team to ensure that deliverables are met effectively and proactively
Support financial closing activities in the systems

Key Responsibilities

Provide financial systems perspective in process alignments and project implementations across
finance, and address implications of change with relevant parties.
Manage the Enhancement Process by working with Process Owners to prioritise and approving enhancements
Work with BUIT and AS on the develop of Enhancements
Ensure Sprints and Knowledge Transfers are effective
Develop the Capital Appropriation Requests with business value working with BUIT and IT
Updating of Business Process Flows
Manage and ensure the SAP implementation or roll out is in line with the template
Partner with business functions to ensure optimal integrated setup
Solution Template/Design and governance across major process areas
Support Data Integrity initiatives and discussions with expertise and finding
Direct report team of three Senior Analysts
5 Conversations / Performance & Development Discussions / Mentoring / Training

What you'll need to succeed

A good working knowledge of SAP in FI and CO module ideally with Super User skills
A recognised accounting qualification
Good understanding of SAP reporting tools like BW, Bex.
Knowledge and understanding of the financial business processes and SOX compliance
Ability to lead and influence change.
Strong and effective communication & interpersonal skills. Calming presence and patience
Ability to connect across cultures and communicate effectively with technical teams, users and management
Continuous process improvement orientation with a curious mindset
Adaptable to change with a love of learning
Ability to plan and manage projects
Ability to document processes
Manage, motivate and develop team
Some overseas travel may be required and is dependent on project involvement
