Do you have a strong technical accounting background? Are you experienced in producing annual accounts and a sound understanding of accounting standards? Are you interested in a 7 month contract with possibility for extension - for start in January 2019, based in Central London?

Robertson Bell Finance are working alongside a prestigious and influential organisation (T.O £100m) in the recruitment for an Interim Finance Manager to provide Maternity leave cover.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, key responsibilities include:

-Lead the delivery of annual accounts and Internal Audit. As well as being point of contact for all external financial agencies.
-Lead the payroll function with responsibility for timely and accurate payments to all staff.
-Provide robust business evaluation and monitoring of initiatives which will allow for effective decision making.
-Ensure strong financial control, making recommendations for improvements and updating the finance manual.
-Regularly review and update investment policies and management of working capital to ensure the organisations optimal financial position.
-Line management of 12, through 4 direct reports.
This a fantastic well-rounded role that works underneath a respected and knowledgeable Head of Finance. There offer flexible working and pride themselves on having a 'strong work life balance'. In an applying for the position, we are looking specifically for those that meet the following criteria:

-Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
-Strong understanding of accounting standards (FRS, SORP)
-Experienced leading on the delivery of annual accounts and management of other transactional functions i.e. payroll.
-Experience in audit within professional services - desirable
