The role of the Finance Manager will oversee the Finances of the commercial arm of this Housing organisation. Based in Surrey and reporting to the Head of Reporting, the key accountabilities of this role are to:
*Manage the Finances of the commercial properties, comprising of student & key worker accommodation
*Oversee a team of two part-qualified accountants, motivating and mentoring them towards hitting targets
*Take responsibility for the maintenance of financial records, setting budgets, and forecasting
*Business partner with stakeholders in commercial & operational divisions
*Prepare statutory/consolidated accounts for delivery to the board, hitting complex reporting requirements.

The commercial portfolio is fundamental to allowing them to continue to operate so successfully, and therefore this is a role that holds high importance as the market becomes increasingly competitive.
