Job Description

Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on a part time basis for a minimum of three days. Our client is a renowned commercially focused Sporting Organisation, based in Central London. They are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the growing team at an important time, with key projects due to start.

The organisation has gone through an exciting period of transformation over the last 18 months after going through a restructure within the finance department. As the Finance Business Partner, you will be reporting into the Head of Business Partnering, specific responsibilities include:

*Delivering a customer focused business partnership service, providing advice, support and challenge to senior management and the Directorate on financial decision making.
*Lead on providing guidance, templates, scrutiny, consolidation and analysis of the annual budget setting process (£300 million) as well as monthly forecasts ensuring alignment with the organisations strategy and business plans and works within funding limits and cost targets.
*Management, reporting and analysis of complex and business critical cash flow models for both Lottery and Exchequer funding streams ensuring highest standards of integrity and control
*Provide analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business/directorate objectives and strategies

This successful candidate will be a ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified accountant, that has proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role. In applying for this post, you will have strong business facing communication skills and be inquisitive by nature. Experience of handling change would be highly advantageous, as is proven analytical skills in seeing different perspectives of a problem.
