This is a position that has been bought about by an internal restructure and you will be working closely with the Head of Management Reporting and the Head of Financial Planning to ensure a variety of stakeholders are provided with the correct information for them to make informed decisions within the business.
Specific responsibilities include;
*Effective assessment of current working practices within the across the department so that opportunities can be identified to increase profitability
*Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to develop a strategy to effectively work through the department cost base in order to deliver a recognisable increase in business performance
*Developing relationships and establishing credibility with key stakeholders
*Defining relevant KPI metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
*Proactively investigate methods for transforming working practices and costs
*Communicating complex financial information effectively with non-finance staff
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACCA) who is able to demonstrate a history of building relationships to influence and challenge decision makers. You will need to possess strong experience of business partnering with a focus on cost transformation and risk & opportunity management. You must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to oversee multiple different areas whilst working to tight pressured deadlines.
