Job Description

Do you want to represent Finance in a role exposed to the entire business, providing a vital service to budget holders? Are you a qualified accountant with first class interpersonal skills?

My client is a large London-based property developer and housing provider currently undergoing a significant period of change and growth. The Finance Business Partner will join a close-knit team that works around the business to provide crucial budgetary advice to internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

*Building relationships across all levels of the organisation, liaising with around 20 budget managers and stakeholders, most notably in the asset management and Housing services areas
*Provide management with expert financial information and sound advice, recommending the best practice and enabling them to make informed decisions as to the best use of their budgets
*Understand financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and use your expertise to influence decision makers in difficult key financial matters
*Provide insightful forecasting, budgeting and commentaries on the Management Accounts within agreed timescales
*Encourage inclusive and proactive links between Finance and the rest of the organisation and enable Finance to be seen as a powerful resource rather than a barrier to improvement.

To be considered, you must:
*Be a qualified accountant
*Demonstrate a history of building relationships to influence and challenge decision makers
*Have strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and the production of management accounts. A background in medium/large organisations is highly preferred.
