Robertson Bell Finance is proud to be exclusively partnering with the Longhurst Group to recruit this highly pivotal role of Director of Financial Management, which can be based in either the Boston or Peterborough office.

They have an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to join the leadership team in a brand new Director of Financial Management role, to provide high-quality services and assurances to the stakeholders and help them deliver to the strategic objectives. As well as contributing to the leadership of the whole organisation, you will retain a specific focus on leading the organisation's financial management activities, ensuring that we remain financially viable.

This new role represents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to build a team that will ensure the delivery and management of the Group's core financial activities. You will lead on a series of key functions, including finance business partnering, financial accounts, management accounts and financial analysis. The Director of Financial Management will also be responsible for procurement, ensuring that our resources go as far as possible and provide value for money.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised accountancy qualification and have a track record in creating and leading high performing teams, delivering complex systems, process and change programmes. The ability to implement new strategies and improve processes efficiently and effectively is essential as the new Director of Financial Management will lead on identifying pragmatic solutions for the organisation that can be developed and sustained. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.
