Job Description

Fully qualified Finance Manager with Housing experience required to join highly respected local organisation.

Your new company
Following a highly significant change programme this very well respected organisation is now looking to appoint a Development Finance & Treasury Manager to essentially ensure the effective financial management of the development function, manage funding capacity and treasury and to meet the corporate business plan.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, and deputising in their absence, you will provide strong financial control through partnering with the Development Team to ensure investments are fully appraised, delivering the required financial returns and are managed within the overall Business Plan. Responsibilities will also include:

  • Manage the delivery of the Treasury Strategy and covenant compliance
  • Maintain good working relationships with funders and bankers
  • Management of a small finance team
  • Preparation of Financial performance reports and present to board

What you'll need to succeed
You will already be an experienced, fully qualified, Finance Manager/Controller within a social housing organisation and knowledgeable across both financial and management reporting and where possible knowledge of Treasury activities. An experience staff manager whom is familiar with working as part of the senior management leadership team. Knowledge of BRIXX and raising finance in a social housing setting would be desirable.
