Your new company
A reputable accountancy practice based in Stockport, now part of a wider group, are seeking a Corporate Tax Semi Senior to join their established corporate tax team of 6. Having been established for over 50 years, this firm is extremely reputable and offers a diverse range of services to a varied portfolio of clients.
Your new role
As a corporate tax semi senior you will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Tax Manager, Corporate Tax Assistant Manager and Corporate Tax Seniors in the completion of corporation tax returns for submission. You will assist in administrating the Corporate Tax compliance function in particular in helping monthly reports and in correspondence with clients & start to review accounts for tax purposes. You will be exposed to more complex advisory work with increasing competency along with more autonomy around client liaison.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this position, you will have experience in corporate tax compliance from within a reputable practice. You will have an appropriate accountancy degree and or AAT/ATT qualified, and either training or looking to train towards ACA/ACCA or CTA qualification and strong communication skills both written and verbal.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of between £20,000-£24,000 dependent on experience and 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas off.
