Corporate Finance Manager job in London, supporting the CFO on strategic developments for this International logistics business.
Your new company
This International transport and logistics business maintains and operates a range of transportation methods across the globe with their innovative solutions driving revenues into the £billions. With the UK business seeing both organic growth and acquisition activity, the Group has recently restructured and embarking on technological change and improvement, with development focus now on acquisition activity.
Your new role
As Corporate Finance Manager you will be working closely with the CFO and executive team, and be tasked with driving forward a number of strategically important projects. This will be the result of financial modelling and presentations, and providing business partnering recommendations to senior management through scenario analysis. You'll also perform due diligence on potential acquisition targets and be fully involved with the bid and tender process. You'll also manage and support the development of the real estate portfolio, and manage the change and implementation of these initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical understanding from completing your ACA or CIMA accounting qualification or potentially an MBA. Due to the nature of the work, you will have excellent financial modelling capabilities and present the information in a clear and concise manner for 3rd parties. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt across a range of specialist areas and the initiative to drive projects forward autonomously and authoritatively.
What you'll get in return
You'll be part of a team here locally that collaborates to help the success of operations conducted across the globe. This is a genuinely commercial, business partnering role, the starting salary looking to be around the £80,000 level, and with the scope to move into general management or a specialist corporate finance role down the line.
