Are you an accomplished and inspiring leader with experience of managing successful teams in both Finance and other corporate functions? Are you looking for a new challenge in a forward thinking and growing Charity that operates in a competitive market? Are you known for being able to motivate a large team and lead it to new heights?

This is a prominent UK charity that has a huge influence on the lives of many disadvantaged people around the country. They have enjoyed significant growth in recent years and are now looking to continue making strides with fresh leadership.

Based in London, the main responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer will cover:
*Managing the day to day operation of the Finance team, among other corporate functions including ICT, Legal and Risk, with a reporting headcount of circa 60
*Being a crucial member of the close-knit Senior Leadership Team that works collaboratively to provide effective support to the Chief Executive
*Being a key influence on the strategic direction for the organisation by providing expert financial planning and leading on new business possibilities moving forward
*Being accountable for seeing the organisation through the year end process, ensuring that statutory obligations are met and that the audit process is successful.

As a number one role in Finance for a highly successful charity, this role has a strong appeal to those who seek to have, and are able to offer, considerable strategic influence over the direction of the organisation. By working closely to the Chief Executive, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next logical step in their career, or for someone already operating at this level who is looking for a fresh challenge.

To be considered for the position, you will need to meet the following criteria:
*Have strong experience and credibility as a senior finance professional who can lead a large team within a complex organisation
*Have an aptitude for translating financial information for non-financial audiences and presenting confidently at both Board level and lower within an organisation
*Have an excellent reputation and a recognisable track record of leading a commercially motivated finance function, though this experience can come from within any sector.

The closing date for applications is Friday 21st June at 9am. If you meet the above criteria, please submit a recent CV immediately as applications will be under constant review from now on.
