An exciting opportunity has arisen in a PE backed business to business company. They are seeking an insightful CFO who, reporting to the CEO, will become an integral part to the executive team. Their key focus will be to lead a high performance finance team that both supports and challenges the other functional departments. This is a company with a strong commercial outlook and a focus on quality, therefore anyone coming into the role must share the same values.
Drive improvements/upgrades in existing financial systems and structures. Create insightful and robust modelling to guide the Boards understanding of KPIs and value drivers. Be attentive to ways of improving cash conversion and quality of earnings. Be a leader in preparing the business for a successful sale, maximising returns for investors. Working closely with the Private Equity backers you will be expected to manage the development of Group strategy and business planning while keeping a close eye on the cash management and income retention of the business. You will manage the professionalization of the business by implementing reporting and statutory deadlines. As the main point of contact for the banks and financial advisors you will play a key role in review and organisation of the internal teams.
Ideal Candidates will be qualified accountants (preferably ACA). Have previously built a high performing finance function and driven process improvement in a business with high volumes. Display an ability to think independently and constructively challenge other Board members with cogent advice. Previous experience of working in a private equity/highly leveraged/multi-stakeholder environment
