Are you a small or medium firm qualified ACA Audit & Accounts Senior looking to upgrade to a larger firm but keen to still work in a mixed, general practice position mixed between audit and accounts assignments? Or are you looking to increase the amount of audit that you undertake and work on larger, more complex and interesting international clients? Are you currently working for a firm outside of London, and are looking to relocate to London for a lifestyle change, and work for a larger firm where you will gain exposure to larger, international clients, but still work in a varied role where you can still carry out a general practice role? Based in the Audit & Assurance department, this unique firm has a laid back and easy going culture and would suit someone looking to upgrade to a more prestigious firm but still have a good work life balance. You will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, complete statutory accounts, tax returns, manage small teams and report directly to managers and partners. You will also carry out a number of interesting ad hoc advisory based projects such as business plans, raising finance, cashflows, budgets, corporate finance etc. Your clients will be varied and include industries such as media, property, entertainment, technology and retail. There will also be genuine opportunities for you to progress to manager level in the future due to the office needing some more managerial leadership.
To be considered for this new role you must be a qualified ACA Audit Senior or Audit & Accounts Senior currently working in a small or medium sized practice firm and be looking to upgrade to a Top 15 firm but still work in a mixed general practice position (with an audit bias). This firm has had great success with candidates who have lived outside of London and relocate to London to gain exposure to larger clients and the London lifestyle. You must have experience of leading audits from planning to completion as well as accounts preparation assignments and some staff supervision. Experience of a wide range of clients would be an advantage as would enthusiasm to progress in a short space of time.
