Your new company
A new opportunity has arisen to work for an independent practice firm based in West London. They provide accountancy services to a range of different clients. As a medium-sized firm, they combine the technical expertise expected of a larger firm alongside the personal skills required to build successful client relationships.Due to growth within the firm, there is now an opportunity for a semi senior auditor to join the busy team.
Your new role
You will be joining the firm as an Audit Semi Senior and provide support to the more senior members of staff, You will be required to delegate work to junior members of the audit team as well as reviewing the work and providing feedback. You will advise the manager of any developments that may lead to a change in strategy and suggest logical solutions to problems. Finally, you will ensure that the work undertaken on site is in accordance with the approved plan and budget. As well as audit duties there will also be some bookkeeping involved in your new job.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be studying towards your accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) or be fully qualified
- Auditing experience is required.
- You should have experience of performing statutory audits and half year review engagements in compliance with UK Auditing Standards.
