Job Description

Are you an ACA / ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) General Practice Senior / Accounts & Audit Senior from a small to medium size firm background who is looking for a general practice role mixed 50% statutory accounts, 20% taxation and up to 30% audit? Are you looking to upgrade to a good quality independent accountancy firm based in Zone 2 North West London, with around 30 staff and are growing at an incredible rate? Are you looking to work for a firm where you can gain exposure to larger clients and better quality work, but also have a good work life balance? If so, this growing independent accountancy practice firm in a prime location in Zone 2 North West London is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years. Your role will be varied, and will include preparing statutory accounts, tax computations and audit work (mainly in house audits so no travel involved), but also many advisory based projects, cash flows, business plans, forecasting, corporate finance work, management accounts and other ad hoc projects. The client base is very varied and includes many international companies with a UK office. Clients are generally to £20m. Your role will also include an element of staff supervision and reviewing work.

To be considered for this newly created role it is likely you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA with at least 3 years experience working for a UK based practice firm. Your current role must include the above duties, and you MUST have some audit experience (ideally leading audits from planning to completion). You must also have experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax returns. You must also want to work in a varied, general practice role and in a small / medium firm environment. Experience of a range of different software packages would be an advantage. You must also be a team player, and be able to work to tight deadlines.

This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of clients from a wide range of industries. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a good quality qualified or qualified by experience Accounts & Audit Senior / General Practice Senior with at least 3 years of general practice experience to join a leading accountancy firm where you will carry out a high profile accounts & tax based role with genuine progression to a higher level on offer.
