The 2009 Career Benchmarking Survey, undertaken by the ICAEW in collaboration with recruitment consultant, Robert Half has revealed the following key findings:
- The average income of an ACA in business is £102,700 (£81,100 basic salary + £21, 600 bonus)
- Males’ average salaries are nearly 50% higher than females’
- Average basic salaries are around 42% higher outside the UK at £106,900 (based on global region figures)
- 42% of ACAs are negatively affected by the credit crunch
The survey explores how the credit crunch has affected ACAs in business and trends across 10 key industry sectors.
