James Cowper are assisting one of its clients, an innovative design and manufacturing group in the aerospace sector based in Oxfordshire which is seeking a Finance/Commercial Director to assist the Board in driving the business forward to capitalise on its current expansion plans in the Americas, Middle, Near and Far East.
The role involves:
• Overseeing the group finance function
• Negotiating and management of commercial agreements with major customers and supply partners
• Managing the patent portfolio, including the making of patent applications
• Contributing to the group strategy including budgeting
The successful candidate is likely to be ACA/ACCA qualified with broad experience in practice and to have worked in a senior financial position within a commercial IP rich/manufacturing business. They will have experience of working with a range of software packages and will have excellent communication skills with good organisational skills.
