Further information

Are you a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIPFA who has experience of auditing large public sector bodies or grant audits and now like to carry out a role that is “a bit different” with travel around Europe? If so this large mid tier accountancy practice that is winning a large volume of grant audit work is looking for a qualified Auditor to join their team that audits EU grant money given to various different organisations and public sector bodies across the UK and Europe. Your role will include auditing the grant money given to these organisations to check that they have spent the money how they said they would, while supervising a small team and working in both a hands on and supervisory capacity.

To be considered for this new and exciting role you must be a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIPFA and have experience of either auditing large public sector clients, government bodies, grant audits or be from an internal audit background. You must be able to travel outside of the UK (around 25% to 30% of your role will involve travel) and the rest of the time you will work from the office or be able to work from home. Language skills would be an advantage but not a necessity.

This good quality mid tier practice will offer you a varied and challenging role and offer you the chance to meet new people, experience new cultures and work in an interesting new role which is a unique opportunity and also proivdes great opportunities to progress to manager grade. Overall this is an excellent position for an ambitious audit senior who is looking to combine travelling with carrying out a varied and interesting role, as well as the ability to work from home.
