Bristol Water supplies water to more than 1.1 million people and businesses, with a turnover in excess of £100m. As its Financial Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in the company, one that offers variety and challenge.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and the other members of the finance team , you’ll be responsible for preparing monthly consolidated group accounts and analysis of variances versus budget, quarterly budget reviews as well as year-end statutory accounts, including the Stock Exchange announcement.

The ongoing integration of the new owners, Capstone and Itochu , will involve preparing and providing support for ad-hoc reports requested by either parent company. With a fresh insight into the current process, you will participate in the implementation of a new reporting tool for delivering reports, budgets and forecasts.

We’re looking for a Chartered Accountant probably an ICAEW member or similar who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, particularly with non-financial individuals.
Audit experience, IFRS and SAP knowledge will be considered, as well as advanced level of MS-Excel. If you can show enthusiasm and confidence, partnered with the ability to problem solve within rigid timetables and to varied guidelines, we want to hear from you.
