Whale Rock is a professional services group (Accountancy, Company Secretarial & Legal) established in 2004, providing multidisciplinary services as an ‘in-house’ solution to suit client requirements. Whale Rock Accounting specialises in the provision of part-time, outsourced finance director/financial controller functions and technical accounting services to growth companies, with a particular focus on the natural resources industry (Oil & Gas, Mining and Energy).

To enable us to service an ever growing demand from our clients we have opportunities to provide accounting solutions and financial management for our diverse client base. We are looking for a talented individual that is a newly qualified accountant from either business or practice.

Your responsibilities may include management accounts preparation, IFRS conversions and technical accounting, audit preparation, due diligence, implementation and documentation of controls and procedures and financial modelling and forecasting.

You should have excellent technical and commercial skills as well as the ability to work within a dynamic, entrepreneurial team environment. You should also have an interest in marketing the firm and its services. You should be self motivated, able to manage multiple projects, be a confident communicator and have strong analytical skills.
