A highly regarded Local Authority based in Greater Manchester are looking to recruit an interim Finance Manager within the Social Care division.
Your new company
I am working exclusively with a Local Authority in the Greater Manchester area, which is looking to recruit an interim Finance Manager. They're going through an exciting period and have a number of projects on the horizon and they need someone who will help to drive performance throughout the finance team.
Your new role
You will work closely with a highly regarded director of finance in order to run the finance team whilst managing and improving processes. You will complete month end management accounts, statutory accounting, budgeting and cash flow forecasts. Other key responsibilities include working within the social care division.
What you will need to succeed
You will be qualified (CCAB or equivalent) accountant with experience of completing year end. This is a critical role and you will work with a variety of teams outside of finance so it is essential that you have the personality to work with non-finance professionals. For this position then previous experience working within a Local Government Social Care division is essential.
