£60,000 – £75,000 plus package
Our client is a highly successful and niche PR firm and part of an international and growing company. They are profitable with a strong blue chip client list and are planning an expansion programme.
Integral to this expansion programme is the recruitment of a new Financial Controller / Director. The successful individual will report to the Managing Director and sit on the Board.
This is a senior management role however the successful individual will need to be a hands on proactive individual. They will lead commercial decision making across the business while retaining strong hands on financial control and providing robust management information on profitability and growth opportunities.
They will need well developed communication skills to build relationships with non finance colleagues. The successful candidate will prepare the business operationally for expansion while contribution strategically and commercially to the growth plans and forecasts.
Responsibilities:
Day to day financial control of the business including financial & management accounting, cash flow management and ownership of banking relationships
Commercial decision making and maximisation of profit across divisions
Work with non Finance colleagues on contract negotiation and customer account development
Build strong and effective relationships across the Group ensuring buy in to financial initiatives & growth plans
Contribute management information and analysis at Board level resulting in strategic growth plans, both organic and non organic.
The Person:
Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with strong post qualified commercial & reporting experience
Experience within PR or another Marketing Services industry
Proven track record of contributing to the growth of a company
Excellent communication skills
