A Finance Business Analyst (SAP) is required to join an international group based in the Great Manchester area. Your role will be to deliver a SAP implementation across Europe, your key responsibilities include the following;

- Responsible for the FI-CO related tasks within the implementation and to ensure that the overall project plan for the finance area is adhered to and delivered to timetable and that any issues are raised and addressed.
- Raise and manage any issues raised by finance users during the SAP implementation to ensure that all issues are raised, that they are comprehensively documented and understand, that they are resolved appropriately with the agreement of the user.
- TO act as the finance co-ordination person during the SAP implementations for all the finance related activities
- To act as the liaison between the finance business requirements and the technical consultants during the SAP implementation to ensure that these are met satisfactorily to the agreed template.
- Documentation of finance processes for the relevant SAP modules
- Education and training of SAP users (particularly the finance functions)
- Provide supporting system documentation and training materials for SAP users (in the finance areas)

This is a permanent role, following the c.2year implementation project you will have responsibility to propose and implement development to SAP FI-CO and to learn and perform basic configuration tasks post go-live on the SAP system as well as championing the consistent use is the SAP FI-CO functionality to the finance function/users.

To be considered, you must have broad knowledge of SAP in the FI and CO modules and have experience of several SAP implementations. You should also be a qualified accountant and have gained significant experience of working in an accounting function. You should be an enthusiastic self starter with good project skills. Experience of change management in an evolving environment would be advantageous.
