Finance Manager - Real Estate - Our Client, a multi-faceted private property group who asset manage, acquire and develop commercial and residential real estate assets for privately structured funds. Having grown by 40% over the last 2 years and with equity to spend they now want to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Manager who can help them grow more efficiently. The Role will support the group FC and FD and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:-

*The management and co-ordination of a remote Finance team, being the key contact within the London Finance team.
*The preparation of statutory and consolidated accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS for UK and EU entities and ensure ledger integrity.
*To work closely with external auditors in multiple jurisdictions (UK, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Sweden, Malta, Cyprus and Liechtenstein).
*The interpretation and preparation of quarterly investor and management reports.
*The preparation of banking covenants and quarterly reports with the Group FC.
*The analysis of covenants on all prospective tenants to provide Surveyors with recommendations on security levels.
*The preparation of detailed development appraisals to analyse the viability of prospective projects and liaising with external consultants to ensure relevant real time data.
*The preparation of monthly reports for Corporate Directors on EU entities to ensure compliance with ownership regulations.
*The preparation of cashflow tracking models and working closely with investment team and external investors to ensure cash requirements and relevant returns are met.
*Working closely with Group FC in the development of KPI's, the management of regular performance reviews and developing flash reports and a new consolidation model.
*Monitoring accounting developments and interpreting accounting rule changes.

The Person: To apply you will be a qualified accountant (ideally ACA / top 4) with solid commercial accounts experience ideally gained in a real estate / property funds business. You will be technically strong with exposure to IFRS, statutory and consolidated accounts as well as management reporting. Additionally, you will possess above average IT literacy and Excel skills and possess initiative and energy and a will to succeed and drive change. Candidates should also be able to concisely and clearly present information to financial people and ideally have had exposure to managing a team and workflow.
